Keith O’Neill from Enniscrone Golf Club explained what MySligo means to him “Golf has been a huge part of my life from a young age. It still is – I am fortunate to work at one of the best links courses In Ireland.”
Now Club Manager at Enniscrone Golf Club, Keith has a long history in golf. He has a degree in professional golf and was previously Club PGA Professional. His successful playing career includes national titles in the Senior Cup and Barton Shield. He was a member of Connacht Interprovincial teams, member of the Irish Youths panel and Irish U 25 panel and was a winner on the PGA Irish Region.
Enniscrone golf Club is located in Sligo along the scenic West Coast of Ireland. The course is famous for having some of the largest dunes in Ireland and golfers can enjoy some of the most stunning scenery to be found on the west coast of Ireland. The club will celebrate one hundred years of golf at Enniscrone this year with a number of events planned for 2018. The golf course has an interesting history behind it. Starting from humble beginnings in 1918 to a new 9 Hole Course which was opened at Bartra in 1931 with annual membership costing £1. Today Enniscrone golf club offers 27 holes of links golf surrounded by their mighty dunes.
