Sligo has been described as a hidden gem in the Northwest of Ireland. Located on the Wild Atlantic Way, we are fortunate to have an abundance of interesting attractions and stunning landscapes that need to be seen to be believed. From Loughs Talt, Gara and Arrow to the magnificent 5000-year-old Carrowkeel Megalithic Tombs; the ancient Ox Mountains to the crashing waves of Enniscrone; South & West Sligo is filled with mystery and adventure. The South Sligo Tourism network is working to promote South, West and the surrounding regions of Sligo to share our beautiful county with visitors from Ireland and beyond. The network has opened its membership to businesses in the region to join and work together to showcase our region to its full potential.

The project will be driving forward in 2018 and we will be working in collaboration with Sligo Tourism and neighbouring counties on promoting the region as a tourist destination. With a combination of the innovative businesses, resources and drive, the network aims to work together to draw more attention to the region and everything on offer. The network will strive towards its long-term goals by combining of the continuity of relationships among the participants and the sharing of relevant information.

Membership to the network is €200 per annum, which works out at less than €4 a week.
