The Moy River Folk Club is located at Moy River B&B in Co. Sligo. This hidden gem is tucked away at the foot of the Ox Mountains and is ideal for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The next house concert taking place at Moy River Folk Club will be a classical recital from Karin Leitner, a musician and composer from Vienna.
This gig is quite different to their usual offering of folk or bluegrass, but promises to be a very special show with a mix of classical and traditional music with harp and flute.
Karin has studied at the Academy of Music and Arts, Vienna and at the Academy of Music Freiburg, Germany. She has composed numerous albums for flute, harp and orchestra and performances can include a wooden flute, piccolo, Irish tin whistle and Native American flute.
The concert takes place on Tuesday 25th September from 8pm.Tickets will be €15 each and are allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
