Packages are also available which are ideal for hen or stag parties that want to do something exciting and memorable. The North-west coast of Ireland is recognised around the world as having Ireland’s top surf spots, and Enniscrone is no exception. This small seaside town is located along the Wild Atlantic Way and at the end of the 5km white sandy beach, the river Moy flows out in to Killala bay.
The North-West Surf School was founded in 2006. It is run by a local surfer; all instructors are from the Enniscrone area and certified by Irish Surfing Assocation (ISA). The beach provides ideal conditions for surfers of varied skills. The school is open all year depending on weather and wave conditions.
The North-West Surf School offers surf lessons, surf board and wetsuit rentals and summer camps. Surf lessons are available to individuals or groups, kids and adults. During the lesson you will learn the basic skills of surfing – paddling, catching waves, popping up, board control, turning and traversing white water. The camps run every week (Monday to Friday) from June until the end of August and adults are also encouraged to join.

7th Wave Surf School is a family-run school also located in Enniscrone. They cater for all ages and abilities and have fully qualified ISA Surf Instructors. Lessons include adult or child beginner, bodyboarding and private individual surf lessons.
Summer Surf Camps are run over the months of July and August and cater for ages 8 to 16 years old. Participants are grouped in order of age and experience. The school places emphasis on fun and safety and provide full supervision at all times. During the camp the kids work on fitness, water safety, equipment, beach games and lots more.
